I tend to allow myself to become burdened with life. To be carried away with "stuff". Work, bills, health, car repairs, appointments, chores... the list goes on. This "stuff" adds pressure and worries to my already hectic life. If I start to focus on this "stuff" I begin to feel like I have no time. No time to be in the Word, no time to pray, no time to study. It can get frustrating for me. I need to make time for the Word, prayer and study. Not an option.

I want to get better at giving my worries to Jesus. I catagorize my burdens. "This is a big problem, I'd better pray about this because I don't think I can handle it." I can cast all of my problems onto Him, He can handle them all! I also need to remember that there are no problems too big for Him to handle. God does not bite His nails, "Oh boy, I really don't know how to handle your problems. These problems are not my department." I can give them ALL to Him - big or small.

Matthew 11:28-30 "Then Jesus said, 'Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.'"

1 Peter 5:7 "Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you."
